I'm feeling down so I thought I'd spend lots of money. Anybody able to reccomend anything I want? Digital camera is springing to mind but I know little about them... anybody?
I have an Olympus Camedia C-900 zoom. (One of the series recommended by cbvampst below, who seems quite clued up.)
It actually cost me about 400 quid, but that was back when it was newly released, so you could probably find one for a bit less now. Also, it's 2.1 megapixel, has a 3x optical zoom and has a (rather basic) movie mode, all of which add a little to the price.
I wouldn't recommend buying a 'budget' digital camera because if you ever take a really ace photo you'll be kicking yourself if it's too fuzzy or low-res to get a clean print from !
