At last, a website

Well, After far too much development time I have finally picked up one of my old website ideas that I previously decided wasn't good enough and made myself a website using it. Its only small at the moment but it does the job, tells you a bit about me and well, is a website. There are more sections likely to be added including a page of friends (leave me a comment and a website if you want to be on there and linked) and maybe even some interactive content.

Things that I want though:

1) Paid LJ account so I can integrate it into my webpage in a much nicer way than an iframe
2) More interesting things to put on there
3) Better graphics - I suck at graphics and I did all my own. You can do the maths. :)
4) A better design - I suck at design and... you get the idea.

Anyway, that's enough keeping you in suspense. Go look at http://www.planetvenus.org.uk/ to see the new look web page. Only a few pages there at the moment but any feedback will be greatfully appreciated. And to save all you geeks the bother yes they do validate.

Also if you spot typos or anything else let me know. The spell checker I ran it through was very crappy.

Oooh! Shiny site! The design is fine, and I'm sure any graphics you come up with will be way better than my poor excuses which are balls and stars! The background's a bit dull, but I'm fairly sure it's my horribly dark monitor which shows pastil blue as navy! Wah, need nice site, need to learn better html, wah!

nice content, though i'm not convinced about the colour scheme (mainly the pastel turquoise background bit!) and the "Chris Venus" title graphic can be a bit hard on the eyes - might work better with thicker lettering and without the outline echoes ?
only typos i spotted were a few on the roleplaying page - an uncapitalised "oxford", "Its made me" should be "It's made me" and there should be a ")" after "who cares".

I believe that you've got Decker and Arkady mixed up in the penultimate paragraph of the RP section. Otherwise seems hunky-dory; well done you.

You're right. I suck sometimes. I don't even know what game my characters are in. :)
