This reminds me of "no other blue" which was a game that most people here won't know but involved the characters playing colours or mixtures of colours. And there are maths equations running through my head to describe the motion from the story. Far too many of them having integral signs (or worse) in them.

And no, not my normal writing but just a short descriptive thing that I feel should be profound if only I can find a profound meaning for it. :)

There is a bright patch of colour, pulsating and vibating with energy whose edges constantly shift this way and that until suddenly they start to slow. The edges now are staying in the same place as a black area, devoid of any colour starts seeping towards the bright colour.

The colour shrinks slowly, keeping itself away from the draining touch of the darkness that surrounded it. After some time the darkness seems to slow for some time, an equilibirum is reached and for a small time the darkness starts to flow backwards away from the colour. Then suddenly without warning the black rushes towards the colour that withers and draws back into a smaller and smaller space.

And then it seems to be over, the colour is just a dot surrounded by the darkness and for a few moments the silence hangs heavy. And then something changes. Without warning a bright white burns out of the remaining small patch of colour, cutting through the darkness where it lies, reaching out and erradicating everything, leaving behind only its bright fiery whiteness. And the patch of colour starts to expand in its new surroundings, constantly overlaid by the new white that permeates everything, a very different home to the blank isolation that it used to occupy.
