It was a birthday after all

chrisvenusFor those worried yesterday did become a birthday after all. Got up far too early (about 10am) and watched some videos. Stopped birefly for lunch when Angharad (near enough housemate but technically girlfriend of housemate) acme back from town with some nice filled baguette type things she bought. Then watched more videoy goodness. I watched I think 3 episodes of buffy season 5 and 4 episodes of angel season 2. Something like that anyway. What this means is that I am now only half a series away from the start of the season they are showing on sky one for both of them.
One thing I will say is that it is possible to get emotional overload with all the stuff going on in buffy and angel at that time. No more detail since I can't be bothered and some people might not have seen it. :) I should also say here, even though he probably doesn't read it, that Chris Fox is a wonderful man for lending me all these videos. I must buy him a little thank you something when I have finished using him as a library. If anybody reading this knows what he likes do feel free to suggest something... :)
In the evening yesterday a few people came round. There was tristam and angharad of course. David was the next to arrive followed quickly by Krystyna and Matt (aka Raptor, not any other Matts that you may know). A few DVDs were hired (and we still have evolution sitting downstairs ready to watch) and I had pizza for my birthday meal while drinking a few beers.
Kerry and Stephen arrived as we were finishing dinner and joined in with the film watching. Get over it was a very silly film but very fun. Krystyna was very much doing the cringe at what she considered butchery of "a midsummer night's dream" by performing it as a pretty bad rock musical. I personally thought it was great though. :)
We then watched some Spaced after that courtesy of another of my housemates who has them all (well, two series of them which I think is all) on video. Then THose who hadnt' already gone went and I trundled bedwards.
Its got a bit late so I should go have breakfast and get into work. Hopefully nothing bad has happened since I left there on friday and testing has been going swimmingly. Fat chance though really. :)
