Arggh! Stress!

Well, this afternoon we started testing the project I've been working on for ages. Its not that bad except that I discovered that the ftp setup isn't even remotely set up and that one of the crucial programs stopped working at between 04:14:30 and 04:24:30 this morning.

On the plus side I am quite happily cludging some of the files together but I need t try to sort the above problems totally ASAP which means no home time for me at 5:30. :(

And yes, you're right. I should be working rather than wittering on live journal but I thought I'd fish for some supportive messages. :)

right. Back to it....

well, one part took longer than expected (due to me telling it to use the wrong file whislt testing... Grrrr...). The other part... err... seems to have magically fixed itself. You know how it is, you spend time getting your nice debug environement up and running and then you do one last check to see if it is still broken and it seems to work.

I'm now seeing if the program will run successfully when it gets called by its scheduler rather than just being double clicked on. At 19:04:30 (that computer time) I will know if I can bugger off home or not... Fingers crossed...
