Birthday stuff

chrisvenusHad a birthday today as most of you probably know. If you didn't know then late birthday wishes are still accepted. :)
Thanks to all those who have wished me happy birthday and things like that. Thanks also to those that I got pressies from. I know I still ahve pressies to come too which is even cooler. :)
So far I have got a couple more bionicles which are cool. Some DVDs which are very cool (especial hugs to krys and reminders that they are very cool and I like them and hugs and things despite the slight amusing problems). Some books and... a cyber spider. Well, I can't remember its exact name or see the box. Its a little spider but it is remote controlled with a wrist mounted (painfully mounted since I think it is designed for kids wrists) unit. It walks forwards, forwards and left, forwards and right. They are the dull bits. It also does things like makes noises, can be set to detect and react to movement and can follow preprogrammed orders. It can also make noises and have a cool green underglow. :)
Anyway, a fairly quiet night was had since I didn't really feel the urge to do big partying things. Six of us (three residents, three guests) had pizza and watched much DVDs. Lots of coupling (whick I sort of got as a present from krys: they do say its the thought that counts) and then galaxy quest which is a very cool film. I love the alien guys in it. :)
Anyway, that covers that I think. Oh, forgot to mention also got a couple of books as pressies. Asimovs, one of which is a collection of short stories that I am not sure if I have read which shoudl be good. Also my sister asked me to tell her what I wanted that I hadn't got yet since in her words, "Your present definitely won't arrive on time". :)
Time for sleep soon I think.
