chrisvenusI feel awful. I feel crap. I feel like I got pissed up last night and am suffering the morning after. It was a fairly good night though. I got into town at about ten to nine. Much earlier than expected. I got home, had dinner and showered before being vaguelyt ready at about 8:15. Watched digimon as I dried and dressed and then headed into town.
I got into town much earlier than expected thanks to a bit of good timing with buses. Tried phoning a few people to chat while waiting and eventually got through to PMG, a friend from home, now living in brighton. It was cool to chat since it was probably about 6 months since I last talked to him. Not much changed but I now have an even longer list of people that I need to phone next time I go to the Electric Ballroom.
Anyway, got into intrusion about 9:15. Unsurprisingly there was nobody there yet so I bought a drink for Lucy and I. Much comedy as I ordered two archers and lemonade. When two orange drinks came back I wondered what I had and she said "orange juice and lemonade". I clarified to archers and lemonade and she got two more drinks. Not seeing much archers go in was my first suspicion. two quid was the clincher. "Just lemonade you said" was the response to my confused and quizical looks. Eventually I got what I wanted and sat down to drink.
DAve McKnight bounced into the room next and we said hello. Other people turned up after that. Natalie, Mark, Xan, Liz and krys. Maybe others. I'd moved to beer after the first archers and I had a few as I mentioned earlier. Highlights of the evening include all the lovely ladies and some good company.
I left at chucking out time and walked home. I sat and had a little sit down on the bench at the top of st giles and when I got back to my place I sat down on the grass to look at the stars. They were very pretty. I think I fell asleep out there on the grass for a bit but dragged myself up after a bit and wanded inside. I think I had vague plans to watch some tele when I got in (at about 2:30) but sensibly headed up to bed.
As I lay down I started feeling a little worse for wear but luckily I didn't need to go and pay homage to the porcelain god. :)
Woke up this morning at about 7:30. Actually got out of bed earlier than I have done in some time, as you may have guessed cos I was 100% dehydrated. I got up and got a drink which helped a lot. I think I need a dose of ibuprofen too though. Watched some spiderman as I sat here trying to feel more alive. Which is nice. I got to see the creation of the scorpion, some of spiderman's backplot (same as the film but nice to know it is the same) and a dude called Mysterio. He was quite cool. :)
Anyway, time to go get ready for work I'm thinking... Maybe another update later. Depends if I get told that I did anything embarrassing or that sort of thing. :)
