An interesting story

Interesting story I just found on snopes: http://www.snopes.com/glurge/room.htm Quite a good piece of writigin (the original thing) and the commentary on it makes for a nice twist.

I'm not a religious person but it was still a good story and I think a very good one for illustrating the "Jesus died for your sins" kind of stuff. What do other people think of it?

When someone dies everyone always says lovely things about them. This guy is, in reality, just another immensely ordinary person. Only his unusual death has caused the spotlight of public attention to fall on him.

I feel sorry for his parents, because it must be really nasty to find out after someone's death that your admiration of them was unfounded.
