A sense of dread
Jul. 25th, 2002 10:19 am"Important meeting for all to attend today at 5pm in the confernece room"
Why do these words coming from our managing director fill me with a sense of dread? Either he is going to tell us we are all going to be paid late (we already know this), he is going to reassure us that things are alright (unlikely), he is going to try to give us a moral increasing speech (doomed to failure), he is going to talk about the share options (unlikely) or he is goign to tell us the company is folding (unlikely again).
So, whatever it is I don't think it will be good. *sigh* And in addition to that I am feeling really shitty. Still, there might be some fun speculation at lunch time if I can find some people to lunch with.
