A tiring weekend

chrisvenusThe weekend has been good, if a little tiring. Friday night I went out with dinner with Matt, Tristam and Angharad. Angharad headed off on her summer holidays and won't be back until september by which time Matt should have moved out. Thus I organisd a dinner trip to Savannah for nice food. The food was enjoyed by all as was the wine. It was quite an expensive night out though, the bill coming in at 105 quid and the taxi there and back being another tenner as well as tip taking it to almost 125 pounds between four of us. Part of that was definitely my fault for buying the nice 27 quid bottle of wine. It was enjoyed and it meant I paid 15 quid more than the others (the difference between the nice bottle price and the cheaper price). The food was lovely though. We then went home and drank the 25/30 quid bottle of champagne that we have had sitting around for a while.
Saturday I was up early and showered and whatevered ready to head out at about 10:20. I shouldn't have to be up that early on a weekend. picked people up and thought I was running late. As it is I was even earlier than I expected and didn't use up any of my safety time (aka getting lost time) so we were in birmingham for the regional garou game at about 12:20ish.
Time in was late but there was much sitting around socialising and a personal auditing of my character as I added up my XP and things like that as well as new gifts. :) The game itself was great. I got to fight an evil gribby anime tenacle monster which was most unpleasant. Then just generally having fun and socialising.
Left and headed home and got home at about 7:30 or maybe a bit later. Made myself some quick food and then headed up to sunnydale to do some computer surgery. other people were there playing games so I quietly secluded myself in krys's room to take apart and reassemble her computer better than before. Much cursing and swearing went on as always and I *still* need to sort the comp out further. :(
Felt knackered after that and basically collapsed on the stairs (all the comfy seats being taken) and really should have gone home but was too knackered to actually be bothered. Ended up getting prodded until I left at which point I went home and collapsed.
Sunday was much the same as saturday. Slightly later start and a minor detour as I discovered that lucy had left her new house keys in the back of my car. Since she was moving into new house I had to go drop them off to her before once again to birmingham. Again a fun game though I was rather braindead and feeling very tense at the end of it (probably all the driving). Sorted out a few things I needed to and did some proper roleplay with Kizzie which was fun. Fairly cool character. :)
Got home from brum again at about 7. Felt knackered. Lounge was a bit of a mess so I just went upstairs and poked computer for thirty minutes. Tried to phone krys for a chat but her phone was off (I think) so ended up just crashing out. Meant to have a quick doze but never woke up again really.
Anyway, another week ahead of me which should be nice. Lots of stuff to do and I think I need some time off work next week. Must sort that out later. I'm trying to work out if there is anything exciting likely to be happening. Otherwise I think I will just take monday off to give me a long weekend.
