Gah! I'm getting far too stressed at work today and its not good. Some muppeting up happened during monday's site upgrade leaving the data warehouse a bit screwed. I think that an import was half way through being run when the database was blanked which as you can imagine has screwed things. The result? I have no idea what has and what hasn't worked so I'm going to need to blank a large chunk of stuff and reimport it. So over the next few days I need to import 2 gig of web logs into a database. And I need to do this on a system they won't let me have access to which means having to try to work out how to do as much as possible before hitting the live server so I can bother other people for as small an amount of time as possible. *sigh*

Very tempted to go home and just have a few beers and play xbox, the thing I seem to turn to these days to get me out of my foul moods. :| Oh well, we'll see. I guess my mood tonight will all depend on whether I manage to hang the database servers during this data import. :|

Note to self for future: stop making the only things you write on LJ whinges about work. :)
