Bank holiday weekend

So, its the bank holiday weekend coming up... Is anything going on anywhere exciting? Yeah, I'm sure there are going to be LARP events and stuff but I was just more thinking that I've got nothing planned and was wondering about I dunno, if I should do?

Well, yes. One thing I was vaguely wondering about was an extended exalted session for my game. Will mention the possibility tonight. I feel like doing something though rather than just sitting around. Maybe star wars... I've been reading star wars books and being inspired. And realising that Timothy Zahn is the win when it comes to star wars books. :)

Have to agree with you on the Zahn thing, did he ever write anything other than the Heir to the Empire trilogy?

Yup. He wrote the Hand of Thrawn duology a while back and I recently found outbound flight and survivor's quest (I might have got that last name wrong). I think there is another one that I've not got called "allegiance" or something as well. They are all superb and I was overjoyed by outbound flight because it had lots of Thrawn in it and he is of joy....

I had a vague plan to see the Bourne Ultimatum since it's getting such rapturous reviews.

I ought to be spending most of the weekend chained to a computer trying to type. (This scheme has not worked so far but I plan, like a First World general, to keep on trying till it succeeds or everyone's dead!)

Yeah, I've just realised it's this weekend as well.

I don't have anything planned, but might use the time to think about future roleplaying games.

If you do find exciting stuff, LJ reviews are always well received in the lathany friends list (if I can't get out and do write-able stuff, I want to read about people who do) :-)
