Stargate LARP

I seem to remember a few people on my friends list expressed an interest in a stargate LARP. I myself am busy squeeing about it. :)

Well, I run it up the flagpole, obviously, but ebq isn't much into camping and isn't a particular fan of Stargate, either (heretical, I know, but I love her anyway). Indeed, I believe she has described it as 'silly' (which of course it is, but in a good way).

Its ok, I got the meaning. As I say, I may already have a place booked. I need to get hold of D and ask him. Last I heard he was talking about getting me kit and team patches and stuff too. :)

I play this already and am currently the IC base commander. I have also played every game they have run so far so if you want to know more about it just give me a shout.

The website seems relatively thorough. I think the only thing I might ask is whether they have a maximum number of people. Also do you know if the accomodation at the event mentioned is tented or dorm types? I hate tents personally but most importantly would have to get one from somewhere... :)

not looked at the details for this event. Normally it is tentage but it may be different for this one as there was talk of us getting a hut which the site may be getting access to I will try and check and find out or join the forum and ask.

I have asked what the plan is this time as last event was a bit of a cliff hanger.

I can't see any thing about accomodation but normally it is tents and at candlestone unless they have gained access to the old brownie hut it will be tents again.

They may be providing tents for us but they never have before and if they were I would expect to know as I expect I would be bringing alot of that.

as for numbers normally it is around 50 last time we had around 30 players which is not quite enough to do everything.

If you have some ideas for characters do give us a shout as I may be able to advise what to avoid or what may be needed.
