You'll have to show me your big one sometime... since I want it to get a similar one for our new lounge if the picture's good enough.

well if it is cheaper you just want to get the equivalent to what you paid for. If buy the expensive stuff you only get disappointed when it doesn't perform better. Catch 22 or something.

You could glue mine to the top of yours?

And hey... my computer output fills the display area ;-)

Oh, btw.

Now you can never move. Not ever. Do you realise how much of a nightmare it's going to be to re-house that television?

Mine came with strict instructions that it should be transported upright (I presume so as not to flex the LCD). And, in its box, it barely fitted in the car. Yours is bigger, so I assume that cars is right out, and you're now into van territory.

It's pretty much going to have to be the first thing you move into a new house, so you can tuck it along a wall, out of the way while you move everything else in after it. Otherwise you'll need to find a three foot long clear patch in the middle of the rest of the clutter, and then keep walking around it...

And it means you'll always have to have to put it in a room large enough that you can sit 10 feet or more away from it. So no more pokey little shared houses with no lounge.

But it's mainly the van, fragility, and tripping over it.

Ah well. I guess it'll keep you happy in the meantime ;-)

Ok, now try fitting the box into the attic so you can store it for a possible future move. Mine is only 32", and the polysturene fitting through the hatch into the attic, but I had to dismantle the cardboard box to fit it in.

(mine did fit in the car when I collected it from Parcelforce)
