Drunken nights out

Last night was fun... orthomyxo finished her exams so after bailing out of LARP early (I've started LARPing again, seems as good a way as any to get fit) I went to meet her with others. She was slightly cheated in that the exam schools refused to let them out the back door (you know, where everybody was waiting because that's where finishers come out) and instead sent her out the side door. we were all slightly confused when she came round the corner...

Anyway, after a quick trip home to get changed I met people in the pub, bumped into brrm and tfm and David (with no LJ). Chatted to them for a while before going back to others. To spare people from too much detail there was food in Zizzi (being unoriginal I had a carbonara and it was really not that good at all), drink in the madding (where other friends were waiting), back to balliol (where despite dire warnings of not being served in the bar due to not being part of college I got more drink). I have recfollections of piggybacking Lucie round the quad (I seem to remember because she said I wouldn't be able to). I seem to remember the second time I was trying to neigh like a horse. Yeah, a few drinks in here... :)

It was a good evening and there were many good hugs and stuff as well which also helps. Not a lot more to say on that really. Time to head off for a GM meeting.

Next thursday is the incredibly amusing day entitled "Chris and David's Big Gay Day Out". The pair of us have the day off work and are going to a national trust place (that I've forgotten the name of) to see a nice house and being one of the places that the recent Pride and Prejudice was filmed they have a costume display on.

*lol* I'm sorry I missed the rest of the evening... given that I fell asleep at 9.30 and didn't wake up until 10 this morning, though, I think it was a good thing I stayed in!

I bailed out at the Turf because I had overheated and wasn't feeling too good + migraine... I was hoping to go back and rejoin everyone later, but I think it was a good thing I didn't in the end. Although I'm sorry to have missed drunken horse impressions. ^_~

and this seems like a good place to say thanks so much to everyone that came on Saturday.. I had great fun and it even made up for the shit of a hang over I had yesterday! Thanks everyone! *Hugs* (will people see this... maybe I should write a post?). Who's going to intrusion on tuesday??

*grin* I should check through logs of what I did on my computer after I got home. I know I logged on and I remember feeling even drunker than I was over the course of the evening (I guess alcohol settling and lack of fresh air or something). I haven't yet dared to check MSN conversations and others.

And I decided getting you drunk was necessary. I did it for your prelims and I wanted to make sure I did it for your finals too. I did forget the debauchery bit though. Sorry about that. :)

And yeah, I'm going to intrusion. Still of two minds about whether I'll be drinking or not since car might be awkward...

And did you have any thoughts on what we should get up to on Wednesday?

Your probably right I'm too hot right now and too lazy :) Wednesday no idea... I think I'm free most of the day but at 4 I have to go have coffee with my tutor... sorry! Hope thats ok! Rest of the day I'm yours though.. what do you wannna do? We could just wing it.
