Just a quickie

Just been doing some computer work on krys's computer. Ripped some bits out. Put some new bits in. Put the old bits back in because I had nowhere else to put them. :) Hopefully the computer will no longer need 5 minutes of power on to warm up before it actually starts. Unofortunately it was on when I arrived so it was already warmed up so I can't test it. It should also be said that Morpheus (krystyna's computer) is now one of the few single processor computers with two processors in it (its a slot and socket one so it will only use one but I left the socketed CPU in in case this makes no difference).

Weekend ahead. Cam game on Sunday, party at Sarah's on Saturday (so lift's available, drop me a line on here or give me a call (seeing next point before doing so)) and nothing else really planned though i dare say I will go shopping at some point and poke around HMV to see if there is anything I want since I have a voucher to spend (many hugs to the person that gave it to me).

This week I have remembered that there are lots of nice people in RPGSoc. Saw a few of them in the pub on tuesday (though it seems like ages ago already) and made an effort to go to games night last night. It was cool. Saw some old familiars and a few new people. I actually have a vague clue who the next committee is now and spent a while chatting about Shalazar and Victoriana. I think I might make an effort to come to Shalazar on Tuesday and probably until the end of term so if the GMs who are hopefully reading this have an NPC they want me to do or can make up something then that'd be cool. It doesn't seem worth it to gen up a character now and I'm sure they can do with more NPCs to help wrap up plots in the last two sessions.

I should go see people like that more often. kissifa was being an absolute sweety so much kudos and hugs to her. Made me feel nice and appreciated. Also being hugged repeatedly by Rachael who is small and very huggy makes you feel appreciated, evne if she does do it to everybody (and probably everything, I can see her hugging trees, animals, cars, whatever else).

Am getting a replacement phone tomorrow morning since I have had huge problems over the last few days of basically *very* ropey connectivity to the extent that 90% of the time I try to make calls it says "connecting" and then just hangs up. Also many people get sent straight through to answerphone even when I am not using the phone and it has good signal. Hoorah for orange care! Hoorah for replacement phones! :)

Anyway, that is arriving from 9AM-1PM tomorrow, depending on when it arrives I might go FLRPing. It is a Alice Cooper themeed FLRP and Jen thinks I am the closest she can hope to get to Alice Cooper. Not sure if that is a compliment or not. :) I think I have persuaded krystyna to go so Jen will be pleased that she can enact all of her evil plans on her.. I mean Jen will be pleased to have an extra monster. :)

Anyway, I think that is enough of an update for now. :) Not as much as a quickie as I may have thought. :)
