another update? Shocking!

Well, I am updating LJ again. Mainly because I am waiting for a damn meeting to happen and so haven't done lunch yet. That having been said I should be meeting ealuscerwen for a bit this afternoon so I might just grab some food then. If I take it as a late lunch I don't need to worry about sneaking out in the middle of the afternoon. :)

The good news is that the deadline should be reached tonight. A few changes were suggeted but they were so awkward for what they were (could you redo loads of graphics just so I can put this one thing in a different place in a list) that I said "no" and she happily accepted that. It makes me feel all important sometimes. :)

I am so looking forward to the weekend I have to say. At least tomorrow at work should be a bit dossy since the website should be finished (phase 1), phase 2 isn't due to start until monday and I'll need to be in on Friday to fix anything that crops up in testing and to make copy changes so very little actual work.

Anyway, an hours work before going out for food and drink. Then only two more hours work until home time. Oh dear. That sounds like clock watching to me... :)

bad habits

I have some bad habits. The one that is annoying me most is staying late at work. wasn't so bad at domino or other places but this place is much further from home so staying til 8 here means home for 10. :( On the plus side I have a vague feeling that the canteen downstairs does dinner and if so I'm going to have some of that before I go home. Which will be nice. :)

Still, at least I have got everything done and the website should be ready to pass all its tests. Still some work tomorrow with sorting out content (as opposed to pure functionality) but that should be relatively easy stuff. Not a full day of work I hope.

Might also start writing some ideas down for my exalted game on the way home. I have a laptop after all and quite importantly I have ideas. Inspired by some ideas bandied around on the official white wolf exalted mailing list I have a really nice idea of an uberplot that with a bit of modification should hopefully run really nicely and create a definite coherent meta-plot for the various games I am planning on running in the world.

I'm actually quite in a work mood at the moment as well. I have laptop here playing megadeth (Cryptic writings) to me while I work and I'm almost tempted to stay longer and do some of tomorrow's work. however a) that would get me home obscenely late and b) I'd have nothing to do tomorrow. I might bring headphones in tomorrow though since I am fairly sure I work better with music.
