A short post

I've just come back from a nice lunch. A carvery at a nearby pub with officemates (a cavery (sic) in fact if you believe the sign on their roof).It was really nice food and good company. And now I'm back at work.

I'm no less motivated and enthusiastic than I was this morning. Unfortunately yesterday was so much like friday that I don't want to be working today at all. However, I have lots to do and so I have to concentrate rather than just dossing and coasting. I should be able to doss and coast though, after all, it is according to some sources National Slacker day ( http://www.oncus.com/slackerday/index.php ). I don't think it is a national holiday yet though. Oh well. :)

At some point I have some posts I want to put up here. My thoughts on self deception amongst other things, and maybe some stuff on emotional manipulation and my occasional lack of empathy. Isn't that a treat you are all looking forward to? Unfortunately even though I don't want to work I should at least try since I have a lot to do and I will feel guilty if I write much more on here than I already have.

Maybe tonight I'll get round to writing more stuff if I don't get distracted by other things (I still need to watch my Mummy and Mummy returns DVDs, computer games to be completed, etc.)...

Late nighter

Oh yeah, and I'll probably be staying in work late which is quite sucky. On the other hand it will be really nice to know that I have got most stuff done and working and that I won't have to send all of next week on it. :) I'll probably have monday finishing it off and then it will finally be canned. The bloody reporting that caused me much misery and suffering (due to the fact it sucks). I can't say much more than that about it due to exciting NDA thingys. Still, I shouldn't be hear much later than 7:00 tonight. Not sure what I am doing tonight. Like to look up a friend but she is probably busy so I'll probably jsut end up doing some Cam stuff I need to sort out.

Back to work though... :) Almost a catchphrase of mine now. :)
