Tired and due for bed
Feb. 2nd, 2002 04:19 amAs always I am tired as I write in my live journal. This time I dojhn't think its unreasonable since its 4:19 in the morning. I've just got back home from Peterborough where I had a really cool evening at Steve's place. There were about a dozen of us. Not many but enough for it to be fun. There was sitting around and chatting and some playing of games (I'd forgotten how silly the chez geek cards are). At about 1:30 I started thinking that I hadn't drunk and I could drive home in theory.
The idea became more appealing as I realised that I would be able to sleep in my own bed and that there would be sod all traffic on the roads. :)
Somewhere about 2:15 to 2:30 I left and one small detour to drop somebody home before the long trek home. I was not quite right about the traffic since there were lots of lorries but I had fun overtaking them. Sounds sad doesn't it but it kept me amused. :)
Anyway... *yawn* Everybody in peterborough will now be able to discover that I got home safe and sound and so will be able to stop worrying about me.
Now as I feel that stage of tiredness coming on where I start to hallucinate I think I will go to bed...
Oh, I'll say that work is going well still. I'm actually looking forward to it sometimes which makes a change. On the other hand they are being shitter about paying us than they have been for a while (only just finished being paid for december about 4 weeks late whereas they were on 2 weeks late for november... *sigh*
Hmmmmm.... beddy goodness... :)
