Need... more... sleep...

I went to bed late last night (my own fault really) but also I don't think I slept well either. I remember waking up lots and I remember lying in bed feeling too knackered to look at my clock and wishing I was asleep.

SO I am feeling dead today. I seriously considered chucking a sicky but decided that this was a little inappropriate for just being tired so I am here and trying to consider starting work. I am already feeling a little lost and deciding to just shut myself off today. I got an e-mail to me and somebody else about an error so I went to see if the other person was looking at it already. I got a rather stressed "please go away" and so feeling rather bemused I did. I then found out that he'd been up early working on this project (that is technically being launched today). I'm assuming he is going to deal with it and so I'm ignoring it and doing my own thing.

I have some sweeties thanks to marketing who have taken it upon themselves to mark product launches and such things with balloons and sweets and today t-shirts as well. I can now wear my "Enterprise Skills Man" t-shirt around the place (superman parody with ESM in the middle instead of just the S) and look cool. I might have to come up with alternative things that ESM can stand for so I sound cooler. :)

So, my plan for today is to not fall asleep at my desk, to listen to Katamari Damarcy soundtrack, get on with what I have to do and to ignore anything around me because that will be unexpected and I'm not with it enough to cope with that.

And although I will intend to get an early night tonight I doubt it will happen. Usually if I go to bed early I don't sleep well though (recently at least) so we'll see...

Oh, and i have two wham bars now so I'm eating one. Yummy. :)

What's a Wham bar?

I shall give you its own description: "Tongue tingling Raspberry flavour chew bar".

Its a purple chewy thing, with little bits of sharp "tongue tingling" stuff in it. All very nice. Made by McCowans Ltd if you want to try googling for it. I certainly can't be bothered. :)

They were something of a childhood favourite and were much better back then. Partly because they were bigger and also because they were slightly different and snapped if you bent them fast but bent if you did them slowly. And I remember losing one of my baby teeth to one because the grip of the chewy wham bar was too great. :)
