Dirge of Cerberus

For obscure reasons[1] I ended up googling for "dirge of cerberus" and finding a lovely pretty video for the new FF7 based game. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7985073303233220183 may contain spoilers and stuff but given its all in japanese it may not. However, I take no responsibility for spoilers, actual or perceived, for any that watch it. I'm glad I watched it though, it was pretty. And made me want to learn japanese so I can buy it and play it. :)

Eeeeeee! So This is "DoC" one of my friends was joygasming over how awesome it was in his LJ the other day, Lucky bastard...

The English cast listfor Advent children is available too, which makes me a happy bunny especcially knowing that alot of my favourite VA's are in there.

I'm sure it'll turn up over here - with production costs like that they can't afford not to port it.

I love what they've done to the FF7 characters. Vincent's beast morph in particular - sooo cool ! Quite a lot of FF8 stuff in there too if I'm not mistaken.

Except Tifa... <sniff> Though she was never realistically going to survive the transition from the old animation style.

It will turn up over here but I'll have to wait months!. Admittedly learning japanese to play the japanese version is almost certainly going to be slower and less satisfying than the international release.

One source said 25th April for US release and another implied EU would be later (which is about the norm).

It does look good though.
