Well, there goes the whole entry a day malarky. But just because I've broken it isn't any reason to give up on it so I will still try to post stuff even if it is just brief and inane.

Firstly is there anybody out there that needs a ticket to the Masquerade Ball tonight? Apparently I am an official blackmarketeer and so can get my hands on tickets. Going for cost price. :)

I think everybody I know who wants one has one but if you (or a friend) needs another ticket then just let me know and I'll pass on details. To be fair its [livejournal.com profile] secutatrix who told me there were these tickets so as an official organiser probably easiest to just go through the official channels. :) I do like the fact that I was contacted as a man who knew how to shift tickets. :) (If you are interested then feel free to call me since I'll be out and about for a reasonable amount of today - details linked from my userinfo)

On other news I discovered last night why playing computer games tired is a bad idea. I was playing eve online and wanted to just finish this one mission... I killed the first wave and waited for the second. Next I knew I'm waking up with the wreckage of my ship surrounding me. The embarrassing thing is they were probably shooting me for about five minutes before I popped so it really wasn't going to be a challenge if I'd been awake. :)

Other stuff. Legacy plotting continues to go well. Except for the lack of GMs. It will be really annoying if after all this planning we don't manage to get enough people to make it viable. We're still forging onwards in the hope that people will volunteer for it. From previous experience if you say "OK, no game for you then" you get people volunteering because they would rather play than GM but they would rather GM than see nothing. Here's hoping.

Tongiht is the masquerade ball that I mentioned above. I need to do shopping to sort myself out on that. Also going to get a haircut (nothing drastic, just the usual "make it neat" kind of thing). If I have spare time I'm going to pop into the optician. One arm of my glasses is broken. The circular bit the screw goes through in attaching it to the front bit is broken and the circle is trying to unwrap itself into a line. I went at it carefully with some pliars and bent it back into shape so it should hold for a while. I'm sure a new arm can't be that expensive though.

That'll do for now. See you all later, I hope. :)

Edit: No more tickets for the ball left, I'm afraid. You can still let me know but at this stage you are almost certainly having a laugh. :)
