Being the person I am I looked at the puzzle on it, decided it was too hard and asked what the answer was. The person who gave it to me replied "I don't know. But I'd love to find out."

So, oh wise LJ, tell me what the answer is and why.

And I should say that I don't *know* there is an answer but I suspect there probably is. :) Correct answers judged by your peers. :)

Don't think part II in the mouseover can be the right reason. If you look at the middle grid on the bottom row the principle isn't held up, I think. I may have misunderstood...

I would actually have gone for B actually.

Each row and column has one of each symbol (traingle, circle, square). Each has one black dot and two white dots. EAch has two inside and one outside.
