Well, I bought the Olympus Mju 410 thing. I got a 256Meg memory card, inspired by comments from onebyone. He suggested two 256Meg instead and after some thought I decided this was a reasonable idea. I then looked at how much I could fit on one 256Meg card and decided there was no real need to two of them. So I've bought one on the assumption that I can get another later.

And all this should arrive on wednesday to work. Yay! Poing!

And I'm impressed at the number of comments I got today. I rarely get that many on a post and today I got lots on *two* posts. Must be the highest commenting day of my LJ career! :)

Edit: I meant to mention actually that I've been contemplating buying a digital camera for three or four years now. Maybe even more. So that's almost as long as I've been considering a holiday to america. I suspect other destinations may be first though. :)

It's not random. There are particular kinds of posts which generate comments and others that result in tumbleweedy silence.

Asking people questions is always a winner comment-wise. Asking people's opinion, doubly so.

Any day you're feeling short of comments, just post "What's your favourite colour ?" to your LJ and see what happens !
