Thunder and lightning

I'm very wet right now? Why? Because as the storm approached and we could hear thunder and see the flashes of lightning I abandoned my desk and wandered outside to see it better. It was beuatiful weather and then the rain started to fall. I stayed out a bit longer but wandered in damp.

Then I sat at my desk watching the rain and more importantly the thunder and lightning more. And I decided to go outside again because this time it wasn't just flashes in the sky but sharp points jabbing down from the sky. This time it was raining as hard as it did at any point and I was literally dropping when I came back in. As in I have a set of very damp pieces of paper that I didn't notice I was dripping on that I am now waiting to dry to see how rinkly they will become...

Its so long since I can remember decent thunder and lightning. Usually it seems to be a couple of flashes and crashses and that is it. This time though there was a crash every 30 seconds at the very least for about ten minutes and more besides that.

Lightning and thunder are going up with stars in my list of incredibly cool things in the world.

Its all gone away now though. :(

No matter how wet you got it couldn't be wetter than TheHattedOne who really did have to be told to come in out of the rain. ;)
