The weekend was great. It got a little slow at times and I've got a few things that I might suggest to STs for next time when I get time to write an e-mail. All in all though there was something really nice about being able to roleplay a character for the entire weekend, be sociable rather than having to deal with serious business the whole time and something about just dozing off on the grass in the sun is very cool.
I managed to I think miss most of the big plot events apart from one that I turned up at the end in order to buy a leather jacket to save the day, hoorah! :) And then got to look dramatic and cool by wandering back into camp with one of thegreat magical weapons being held by an elder of the nation while we all looked slightly smug. That's two I've helped recover now. :) Hopefully I have a third on my list... :)
Sunday I really enjoyed as I got to callt he scandal of doom. As others have said we did a whole lot more than throw the book at him. We managed to get him on breaching half the litany in the two days he was with us and we possibly could have got him on more had we not decided that our list of crimes was long enough and we felt like shouting it out very loudly.
Still need to get a result from that so I will probably resend the scandal to uk-garou mailing list so the whole world will know the details and the philodox can respond on there.
Sunday evening Oxford game was fun. I actually now have some better idea of the plot that I need to be handling having been only given very sketchy responses to enquiries before. Might suggest that council members get to the pub early in future to try to be turnsheeted and then have a council meeting before time in since it was fun. Hopefully then we could do it without being too rushed as well.
My next turnsheet should bring to bear my not inconsiderable influence on the poor town of oxford. As well as helping to focus other people's actions. I'll try to write up more detail on the weekend at some point. Maybe after I've had a shower which *sniff* I very much need after the weekend of running about. :)
