Mondayitis or ill
Aug. 11th, 2003 01:22 pmI've been feeling awful all morning. I'm being really unable to concentrate and I'm getting occasional quite strong dizzy spells.
I also have a stomach that is feeling peculiar at times but I have a strong suspicion that this was just lack of breakfast.
As it is work has been going along OK but definitely none of my best stuff coming out. Fortunately its all mostly routine stuff so no real brain power needed.
I'm just trying to work out if I am actually ill or if it is just because I'm tired and its monday. I'd do an exciting poll as well if I had a paid account so you could all tell me whether you thought I was ill or not. You'll just have to pretend though I'm afraid.
Meh. Wanna go home. Or alternatively want something to distract my mind with.
Oh well, more work I suppose...

Date: 2003-08-11 05:34 am (UTC)As for drinking, quite possibly not. I find there is a limit on how much I can drink though. I have water next to me all the time courtesy of our water cooler and the weather is quite nice in here (aircon) so I don't think I'm losing that much water while at work.
I do notice that my water glass is empty so I might set myself a challenge to get through at least one glass every 30 minutes until the end of the day. That might help the clock watching anyway. :)
Anyway, if I decide I'm ill and I go home then they stop paying me as much. If I stay at work and go really slow they pay me and then I have more work to do so they will keep me here longer. :)

And is parch a real word? I know what you mean but I did't know it was a real verb and things.
