Bad things and good things
Oct. 14th, 2002 02:24 pmBad things. I spent loads of money over the weekend.
Good thing. I now own some nice new smart clothes (for vaguely business or just smart wear), a data cable to plug my phone into usb of computer (that also recharges phone battery) and a new game for the Xbox (Shadow of memories) which is really intriguing. Despite having actually completed it already there are five endings to the game depending on actions you take throughout the game. I took the quickest route through not realising all this side quest thing and so my ending was a sucky one. It was actually a very cool ending none-the-less, just ended up with me dying and all the other characters I met along the way getting sucky ends too. :)
Bad thing. I failed to sort out my business card issue.
Good thing. I was talking to the guy who got me the job here and he said that he would be happy to get me some business cards since they have some at the printers at the moment. They'll be syndicut business cards but they will have my details on and will look nice and professional (I assume, I've not seen them but knowing steve they will look quite good).
Bad thing. Absolutely knackered.
Good thing. Staying up late got my cam turnsheet done. It was only meant to be brief... I don't know what happened to it... :)
Bad thing. Hour long power cut last night.
Good thing. It was really nice and pretty walking around bits of marston with no electric lighting and the flickering glow of candlelight shining out of windows. It inspired me for a story nearly but the power came back before I got a chance to write stuff on my laptop (hoorah for laptops!).
Bad thing. Still not king.
Good thing. Still the prettiest.
Bad thing. Didn't finish my web page over the weekend.
Good thing. I played lots of computer game and watched lots of stargate DVDs over the weekend so I am happy. Also my web page is quite far through so I might be able to finish it off on the bus on the way home if I can be bothered to (not a huge amount of room to use a laptop). Failing that I'll do it tonight while waiting for coupling.
Bad thing. Nothing else to say.
Good thing. You don't have to listen to me talking crap any more.
