bad habits

I have some bad habits. The one that is annoying me most is staying late at work. wasn't so bad at domino or other places but this place is much further from home so staying til 8 here means home for 10. :( On the plus side I have a vague feeling that the canteen downstairs does dinner and if so I'm going to have some of that before I go home. Which will be nice. :)

Still, at least I have got everything done and the website should be ready to pass all its tests. Still some work tomorrow with sorting out content (as opposed to pure functionality) but that should be relatively easy stuff. Not a full day of work I hope.

Might also start writing some ideas down for my exalted game on the way home. I have a laptop after all and quite importantly I have ideas. Inspired by some ideas bandied around on the official white wolf exalted mailing list I have a really nice idea of an uberplot that with a bit of modification should hopefully run really nicely and create a definite coherent meta-plot for the various games I am planning on running in the world.

I'm actually quite in a work mood at the moment as well. I have laptop here playing megadeth (Cryptic writings) to me while I work and I'm almost tempted to stay longer and do some of tomorrow's work. however a) that would get me home obscenely late and b) I'd have nothing to do tomorrow. I might bring headphones in tomorrow though since I am fairly sure I work better with music.

I can understand the staying late in work thing annoying you. I've got pretty much the same. Still, I have finished what I was doing, so I am going to head off home now.

Managing to get done what you want to get done does seem to help. Its very frustrating when you stay late and don't get what you wnat to finish finished.

And Nathan is actually one of my oldest and closest friends - we have known each other for over 8 years now. He is visiting me next weekend from Edinburgh (where he is now working) and yes, it is indeed a small world
