At work on my holidays

chrisvenusWell, as I probably mentioned here before this week is a week off but I was asked to come in today. I arrived in at 11 (having come from parents place and traversing the M25, I only left home at 9:15 though) and spent a while starting my computer up. It seemed very slow today.
I had one major issue to look at. Stock files not working. My first instincts were right. It wasn't our fault at all but was in fact the file having the wrong information in it. And that was it really. There were some other scary error messages but they seem to have been caused by nothing serious (though they do require further checking, they all relate to a non-live site though). It means that unless anything goes hideously wrong and can't be fixed today that I won't be in work tomorrow whcih is clearly a good thing.
Anyway, just thought I'd be chirpy about that and remind everybody that I am still alive. A post about my weekend so far will probably be forthcoming. It basically consists of:
Friday - can't even remember what I did. Oh yeah, went to socialise with people pre-FLRP and then went home and watched tele and stuff.
Saturday - played Halo too much and then went home. Early night since I didn't manage to arrange seeing anybody in the evening.
Sunday - Saw a couple of friends from home and packed up a lot of my room during the day. GW stuff mainly which I now need to sell/get rid of. Anybody interested in a load of blood bowl, warhammer 40k or warhammer fantasy battle stuff (as well as a lot of other games, all boxed and I think complete)?
Monday - Ended up going to see a couple of hungarian girls that I said I would look up in reigate. went along with my brother and met up with some of his friends. A fun night and one that left me thinking over some weighty thoughts on behvaiour and morals and things. More of that in later mails.
Tuesday - met an old friend for lunch that I haven't seen for ages. He works up in london so we met up there for lunch. Dossed for the afternoon before meeting steve after work and then went to meet gemma and was a llittle on the late side since steve and I lost track of time and the underground took longer than I thought it would. :) Gemma and I had a fun evening and managed to nearly get through all of the seven deadly sins. The only one we missed out on being wrath which was due to circumstances beyond our control. :)
