Weekend comedown

evath and kimholding in Cambridge. I had friday off work since I needed to be back in oxford relatively early on sunday. The weekend was great with lots of time spent with them, a couple of trips to the pub with people (their cambridge friends and Andy's brother and friends). It was a good if very tiring weekend. I'm now on something of a downer afterwards I think. Possibly lack of sleep related. It was a great weekend though. I'm already tentatively planning another trip down sometime around the beginning of december. :)
And relatedly I started listening to the audio book of Neil Gaiman's American Gods. Its very good and I offer many thanks tochains_of_irony for her part in this. It makes driving much more interesting and I didn't feel tired and in need of a break at any point, probably becasue there was something engaging rather than radio rubbish to listen to.
