the first bit of free time in ages...
Jun. 17th, 2006 09:06 pmSo, I've been spending the last few weeks doing Legacy, working, picking up LARPing again, and doing 101 other things. So tonight I came home from LARP (I wonder when I stopped calling it FLRP - damn them all) and thought about all the things I could be doing tonight. I seem to be only able to rouse much enthusiasm for one thing. Sleep. Bloody typical.
For reference things I was wanting to do:
1) Catch up on some good computer game time. I've played some guitar as a quick thing to dive in and out of. I've not had time to play Eve properly in several weeks though with the politics going on in my Corp I can't say I miss it too much right now). I've been replaying FFX for a long time. I want to get Never Winter Nights going properly. I told some people I might start playing WoW... And that's not even counting the other games I want to give time to but amd not because of all the others...
2) Install Windows XP on desktop. The main sticking point to this being to sort out a floppy disk with SATA drivers since I want to stick it on a SATA drive. Or to create a XP install CD with the SATA drivers on. Its been on my todo list for some time and its embarrassing how long this HD has been sitting there for.
3) Catch up on TV. I've just caught up on Doctor who but I have Veronica Mars, Lost and Supernatural on the Tivo that I still need to watch. Teen Titans seems to have started a new series (or at least the tivo is picking up new episodes at the moment). Probably more stuff.
4) Dinner. Not something I've been lookign forward to free time for of course, just something I was thinking about doing tonight. Still, the freeform LARP thing this afternoon had food and I did eat rather a lot of sausage rolls...
5) Write up some role playing stuff. Since I've not played my LARP character in over a year I need to work out what he's been up to, especially given how I left him. I'll run it past
uncle_griff and possibly somebody who is likely to read his e-mail and offer constructive thoughts. :)
So right now I have Kerrang on (failing at number 3) and I'm going to lie down and doze. I think I need it. My brain is trying to do bad things to me and I'm feeling a little down as a result. Sleep usually fixes that kind of thing though. I'm hoping I might get number 5 done at some point though. :)
