Aimed at all london roleplayers (though many will have already seen this, I suspect).

That page details a rough plan from a couple of friends of mine to run a game in london and they are currently trying to gauge interest levels. I would suspect the game is likely to be very good so for all those wanting something that's a bit of a change from the world of Cam (or just from the world) then go take a look. I'm sure they'll be able to help you with any questions but I would suspect it will be a fairly rules light (pretty much guaranteed they'll be no RPS) and roleplay heavy (got to fill in all the lost hand waving time with something, right?).

Last bit of advertising I'll say is that if I lived in London then I'd *definitely* be there. Since I don't I might just see when it runs and maybe turn up once in a blue moon. It shall be glorious.

I've just got a spam. The really confusing thing is it seems to have been spam-assassined before it got anywhere near any of my computers. It appears that the second computer to receive it put it through spam filters and gave it 16.1 spam points. 5 would classify it as spam and so this mail arrived in my inbox explictly stating "This is spam!". I'm intrigued as to what my filter at home will do. It will probably get double tagged as spam. Poor little thing...

Just got a random phone call. My work phone is so rarely used I have to wipe the dust off it from time to time... Well, not true but nobody ever calls me.

So today I was surprised when my phone rang. I was even more surprised when it was a girl from Spain with a customer services style problem. How she got my phone number I have *no* idea. Still I was as helpful as I could possibly be. Why? Because she sounded really cute, dammit! :)

She spoke damn good english. We had good fun spelling words out to each other and thinking of words to use to indicate letters. "R is for... err..... Rome!" Shame really that she lives in another country or I'd have flirted a lot more. Maybe I should flirt a lot and see if she'll invite me over for a holiday. :)

I'd forgotten what its like to do customer service type things. I've not done many and in all honesty this wasn't really doing much but I did manage to find that the journal issue she was trying to get hold of is available for free on our website. Bonus points for me for a damn good service I reckon. Will anybody ever know or care? probably not...

Was quite strange though to hear the spanish girl speaking with a predominantly american accent though. Either she'd spent a lot of time there or quite possibly that's just the accent that people get taught english with. I did hear the other day that the english accent is much harder than the american one.
