So, interesting things recently? Swordsmaster on sunday was great. For the first time since the game started I am at full magic points which is nice. It meant I could do frivolous magic and things. Also getting closer to a few personal goals. Contacted my granfather telepathically in a 20 focus test extravaganza (although dawn did change it and only require 12 I managed 20 anyway). Oh, and for reference passing a focus test involves rolling 84 or less on percentile so there was approcx 1 in 32 chance of passing 20 focus. Its a shame really. With that many focus tests I might have managed to contact my brother. :)

I have managed to get myself quite scarily addicted to a silly computer game whose name escapes me but is basically to do with playing maracas in time with music. It is fantastically fun but I am not sure I can explain why. For those wondering the game works by having six positions in which you can shake maracas. They are high, mid and low on the left and right. You basically shake them in time with the indications on screen and occasionally have to strike poses (which involve holding the maracas in a given position at the specified time). It has some great songs including tubthumping, Macarena and Take on me (dodgy but fun version).

Last thing for this entry is starcraft. I hadn't played it for a while and gave it a go tonight with TFM (housemate). First game was a multiplayer 2 vs 2 (humans vs computers). We were doing alright for a bit I was being relatively cautious and just denying the enemy some nearby supply points while slowly building but TFM was a bit over bold and invested resources in a base that got trashed leaving him with litle defences and little cash. He got overrun so we quite since me against two would have been a) dull and b) far too hard. :)

The second game we do a one on one (human vs computer) which involved two of us controlling one army. This is quite dull in the early game since there is little enoguh to do for one but quickly picks up as he develops the base and I take our first few units off exploring. Later on it is wonderful to be able to have perfect planning in battles because the Reavers (for example) come into the battle at the perfect moment, or that when my dark templars are withdrawing to recover his units come out to cover them with perfect timing.

Its really good fun and I must play it more often. Same goes for all of the games I've talked about actually. Swordsmaster is unfortunately not as often as I wished. Oh, and on similar thoughts I am getting through my exalted stuff ready for my next game. Half way through anyway.

Anyway, that'll do for now. I should head off to bed or something. Am watching eurotrash now but I am not particularly bothered right now. It is currently telling me how to say "I want you to lick me right there, right now!" in swedish, french and italian. Don't ask me to transcribe that, I really can't be bothered. :) The best thing about eurotrash has to be there silly voiceover voices and silly sound effects. Its now talking about somebody whose occupation is "Factory owner/erotic actress". Really heavey welsh accents dubbed over the porno script are great. And being described as a political porn star is why this program is so strangely addictive... Anyway, that'll do for now. :)

Since [livejournal.com profile] quisalan complained that it wasn't mentioned I shall now mention pancakes. She made some last night after we never managefd on tuesday night. Richard and I both descended on her and after waiting for her to finish being anti-social on the computer we went downstairs to cook. She made many a pancake and I think the final estimate was about 7 each? I could be wrong on that though. I had a few savoury ones (pancakes with cheese is surprisingly nice) adn then the pancake o'doom.

The pancake o'doom was one that got mangled in the pan slightly and krys was about to throw it away. Richarad and I both protested so I got to have it anyway. It was little, mishapen but fundamentally still a pancake and thus worthy of eating. Richard had been trying to persuade me to have cheese with lemon juice earlier and so since this was a "freebie" pancake (in that I was getting a proper one anyway) I decided to go for it. Cheese, lemon juice and maple syrup went in it and eventually a bit of sugar on top. It was remarkably nice in all fairness thought he late addition of sugar was probably a mistake.

And then the maracas thing happened.
