Yes, it would appear I am a calculator. :)

I am at home today and just got a phone call from somebody at work...

"If I have two journeys a week at 20 pounds each how much will it cost over 6 months?"

Slight incredulity at first (I had assumed it might be asking me about my work) led me to giving a quick approximation of an answer. I was thanked and told that I might get another phone call in a bit. :)

Nice to know I am useful for something. :)

It was fair enough yesterday when I was sitting in the same office and answering these sorts of questions, just strikes me as amusing to phone somebody up on their day off to ask. It also worries me that she can't do it herself...

Another phone call "I need to book a meeting room once a week for 30 pounds. How much is that over 6 months? Is it just 26 times 30?" At least it proves she has the right idea. I am wondering if it is just lazyness. :)

Keeps me on my toes though. :)
