arrgh!!

That is all there is to say really. The software upgrade that has been planned for a couple of weeks is happening tonight and about 5:15 I am told that I'll need to hang around til the end when the data warehouse (that I am the only one who uses) gets nuked and rebuilt. Since the upgrade only started at 5 (when the site was taken down) this may mean being late. Since I was due to be seeing minority report at 8:30 which means being finished here by 8 I may be screwed.

Two things that annoy me. a) Steve who was the person due to do this got to turn up at lunch time since he was planning to be here until late b) there was a b but I forgot what it was. I mean, yeah, B could have been the whole missing the cinema, the whole potential to be here until gone ten if things go horribly pete tong or the general pissiness of being told less than half an hour before I was due to go home. I'm sure it was something less obvious though...

Oh well. It'll be fine. I'm sure.
