Day 1

12:30 - aplication form dropped off with Steve. He's going to drop it on the right desk tomorrow and hopefully it will get a response soon. Within a week will be good but we've got to wait and see. Chat with steve which was nice. Home via kebab van for cheeseburger dinner. Was in far too bad a mood to eat at a sensible time earlier.

01:30 - home with tfm and ag, all of us thinking about bed. Somehow the conversation goes around to study and how easy subjects are relative to each other. Angharad suggests that if you are going to do no work but have intelligence then things like maths and comp are easier to coast than things like history. Chris argues that a different sort of intelligence will allow you to coast equally well through history. Tristam thinks. Probably.

02:00 - bed. And writing a journal entry. For some reason I have decided that my applying for a new job deserves documentary style day numbering, hence today being day 1. I will keep doing this until the end of my job application trail. Or until I get bored of it. IT does have the advantage that random "Day 4 16:29 Chris decides to go and get another glass of water, his ninth of the day" types of post become a whole lot more acceptable due to being more in genre. :)

Now all I need is somebody to be big brother and set me a task. :) Hmmm... I think if this was a journal that anybdoy ever posted comments on then that'd be asking for trouble. As it is I guess I am safe. :)

Sandwich van arrived and I bought a sandwich. There was much amusement as it seems everybody at domino was lining up with a note and the poor girl had no change. She ended up giving a lot of people a few pennies off. :) The baguette is now lying there tempting chris into eating it.

10:14
Chris moves baguette.

10:17
Chris realises that having headphones today and thus music is good. Hoorah for MSN music. Even a few new tunes I note after my few weeks of absence which is cool. Back to work now though. Application form should have arrived on the right desk by now though. Now just the waiting game...
