Hmmm... I meant to sign up to this ages ago. I did in fact register but made the mistake of doing so when I was in the middle of packing up my room and moving. Thus I couldn't find my cheque book. Now though I have and have re-registered and have a cheque in an envelope ready to post. I just thought I'd post this to remind any friends I have out there who haven't paid up to do so.

The accomodation is relatively expensive (and is the priciest part of the weekend) so do take note of that before paying the relatively cheap 40 quid for the con itself. And who else that I know is going? taigne? You going? I'm sure there will be animesoc people there like magicalsushi and monarda_if...

I seem to remember also that I said I'd send details to elethiomel who was a bit interested... Still interested? Still time...

Anyway, that's my pimping done. Might do more updates later. Its been an unproductive day so far and I see no reason to change this. :)

I'm afraid if I'm not in Sweden that weekend I'll be going to Sweden, so I won't be at Aya. I can't actually think of anybody else from OAV who's definitely going. I think Crystal Misato (http://www.digitalsurvivor.net/blog/) is going and I expect she'll be taking along at least three cosplay costumes!

If you're not afraid of who might answer the call you could ask on the general mailing list.

I'm not actually on the general list, just the announce. When I joined up to that list I decided that a hardcore anime fans mailing list would go over my head. Now I am worried that I might understand it all. :)

I may not be on the committee but I haven't gotten round to relinquishing the privileges there of, so I could easily add you to the general list. Truth be told it hasn't been all that busy in the previous year.

Or if you want to write an email I could post it for you and forward you any interesting replies.

(Oh, and you probably don't need the obvious pointing out (^_^;;;) but I don't think you'll get an answer from magicalsushi till he's back from Gibraltar at the end of next week?)

And yeah, I'd forgotten he was in gibraltar. I'm not overly bothered about who is going anyway, just be nice to know who to keep an eye out for. Or to know that I shouldn't bother.

I don't know if I'll bother asking the general OAV mailing list though since I don't know most people very well. On the other hand, its a good chance to get to know people better. :)

I don't know if she has. This was part of the reason for asking. I can't see her name on the members list though so I'm thinking that she hasn't decided "yes" yet but she may have decided "no". More likely she just forgot all about it due to her exams. This is partly the reason for my post. :)

I'm most likely NOT going, although I have no real excuses. I'd be somewhat tempted if both you and Briony are both going, but I'm not sure I can afford to spend money on a convention this year so I'm still not sure I would come. :(
