chrisvenusUmm... I just realised as I deleted a very rude comment to somebody that I am possibly not being as nice as I could be at the moment. I am being very work stressed is the main reason. I do apologise if I am rude to you (or have been today), please don't take it personally.

Having to work on code with urgent deadlines that I have never looked closely at before
Something like that anyway. Stress seems to be vicious cycling me though. Its getting me down a lot which is making it harder for me to work which means I'm getting less done and more stressed and...
I've pretty much resigned myself to working as late as I can (ie until keyholders leave) this week and then maybe more in the evenings. Its my own fault, if I got more done in the day then I wouldn't have to. I'm also possibly going to be working this weekend depending on how it goes. Definitely not on Sunday though because I have plans that I am not going to cancel.
But yeah, wanted to warn people that I am going to be stressed and in a foul mood. Normal service will be resumed next week. The worse thing is that I know all of you lot will forgive me. I'm just worried that tomorrow I am going to be stressed and talking to microsoft, who I am often not civil about. Also I've been very short with people at work but I think they've taken it lightheartedly since they are all working to the same deadlines.
Gah! I need a holiday. I also need to finish moving house but bugger that for a game of chess. Hopefully my old housemates can cope with some of my stuff around for a bit longer. :)

- the other (and senior) code developer being off this week so *all* code bugs are my responsibility
- I found out end of last week (6:30PM Friday - yeah, I was still at work then) that I have been booked for a meeting on Thursday and Friday. This is bad because:
- I don't know about this specific product at all
- I'm being asked about things that I am having to swat up on now, cutting into my time to reach that deadline
- I have two days less than I thought to hit my deadline mark
- I don't know about this specific product at all
