The trouble with working
Jul. 31st, 2003 01:18 amJust found the one trouble with getting a job. Running a game on saturday that I was foolish enough to decide to leisurely take thursday and friday to prep for. Of course now it is just thursday. Luckily I have had conversation with krys reminding myself of everything that happened in the last session (which seems to have been two and a half months ago). Then I found the very useful accounts written up by Krys and Dom. And the less useful one written up by me. Next time I will write up the session and not a Very Secret Diary. Nah, what the hell. I'll write up a VSD or two. In fact I already have one in mind... Make that two... make that... Who needs to prep for the session anyway? :)
Well, basically there are two main paths they might follow and I know what they will find at the end of both. There are a few other routes they may take but most of them are jsut minor detours and anything big will take enough time finding the path that I'll be able to prep for it in session. Set them off arguing about something and I'll be fine.
Hmmm... maybe game prep should involve finding contraversial decisions you can force your characters to make so they will argue for ages while you work out what is going on...
Hmmmm... well, I could give them a solar anathema. I know krys would argue to be nice to them considering that she's a.... Hmmm, that might not work. After all, who can picture krystyna arguing in favour or twisted devil-humans who have stolen the power of the sun?
Hmmmm... bed, methinks. And to enthuse my players you'll be pleased to know I have finished reading the Abyssals book more thoroughly and I'm taking the lunars book to bed to read. Hmmm... death tainted bad guys.... furry lunar killing machines of death... :)
